The fox was already here.

This is not a Japanese theme applied to a crypto project. The oldest market for paper claims on a real asset ran under the patronage of a rice deity whose messenger is a fox, and it is where candlestick charts were invented.

Rice was the first tokenized asset.

Osaka, 1697. The Dojima Rice Exchange did not trade rice. It traded warehouse receipts against rice held somewhere else, which made it the first organised futures market and the first paper claim on a real asset. Its traders invented the candlestick chart. They prayed at the shrines of Inari, kami of rice and of commerce, whose messenger is the fox.

Tokenized equities are not a new idea. They are a very old one, returning to the same patron.
